Quetta: A delegation led by BDA Staff Association President Maqsoodur Rehman Bazai called on Senator Maulana Abdul Wasay, Provincial Chief of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI), in Quetta.

The delegation included Shams Khalji, Haji Saifullah Tarin, Mir Hatim Lehri, Haji Noor Muhammad, Ahmad Shah Langau, Haji Naveed Qalandrani, and Syed Sher Ali.

During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on the proposal to merge the Balochistan Development Authority (BDA) with other institutions, its potential implications, the future of the organization, employee job security, and the developmental interests of Balochistan.

The BDA Staff Association delegation expressed the view that the BDA is a vital provincial development institution. They argued that its merger would not only endanger the jobs and futures of hundreds of employees but also severely impact Balochistan's development planning and institutional framework.
