QUETTA (ISPR) – Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir visited Quetta Garrison, where he interacted with commanders and commanding officers of field formations and reviewed the province's security situation. On this occasion, Corps Commander Quetta Lieutenant General Faisal Naseer was present with the Army Chief on the front seat. The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) also released a special photograph of the visit.

During the visit, Field Marshal Asim Munir received a comprehensive briefing on the prevailing security situation, operational preparedness, and ongoing measures aimed at maintaining peace and stability across Balochistan. The briefing also covered matters related to institutional coordination and support for the socio-economic development of the province.

Field Marshal Asim Munir appreciated the high standards of professionalism, operational readiness, and selfless commitment displayed by officers and troops. He emphasized the importance of continued coordination among law enforcement agencies and other state institutions to consolidate peace and maintain an environment conducive to sustained economic activity and development.

The COAS reaffirmed that the peace, prosperity, and well-being of the people of Balochistan remain central to the efforts of the state. He emphasized that a stable and secure environment would continue to facilitate development initiatives, economic opportunities, and improved prospects for the people of the province.

Field Marshal Asim Munir paid rich tribute to the sacrifices of the martyrs and lauded the steadfast dedication of officers and troops in the discharge of their duties.
