ISLAMABAD (News Desk) – Heavy rain continues in Islamabad, and waterlogging on various highways may slow down traffic flow. Islamabad Traffic Police has issued a traffic advisory to raise awareness among citizens.

According to the advisory, citizens should allow extra time for travel and drive vehicles and motorcycles at a slow speed during the rain. A safe distance should be maintained from vehicles ahead to avoid any emergency situation.

Police directed that fog lights should be used during the rain and drivers should always stay in their own lane. The use of side mirrors, indicators, and seat belts has been made mandatory while driving.

Motorcyclists have been directed to ride in the far-left lane and wear helmets mandatorily.

Islamabad Traffic Police officers are present on the roads for the convenience and awareness of citizens.
