All banks and ATMs in Dalbandin have been shut down since August 5, 2026, due to security threats. This prolonged closure has thrown citizens, government employees, pensioners, and traders into a state of financial despair .

Sources confirm that all branches of National Bank of Pakistan and other public and private banks, along with their ATMs, remain closed. Local journalists report that government employees and pensioners are unable to draw their salaries and pensions, while students are struggling to pay their school and college fees .

A local trader said, "If the banks are closed, at least the ATMs should be opened. Even if they were open from 10 AM to 4 PM, people would not be in such trouble." He added that with the administration, police, FC, and army present, the closure of banks and ATMs is "beyond comprehension and a clear proof of administrative failure."
