QUETTA (Special Correspondent) – Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti chaired a high-level meeting of the Balochistan Safe City Authority. Inspector General of Police Balochistan Muhammad Tahir Khan briefed the Chief Minister on the performance and initiatives of the Safe City Authority .

The meeting was informed that the Balochistan Safe City Authority's effective surveillance had led to the identification of 138 vehicles stolen from across the country . In addition, timely action by the Safe City Authority resulted in the identification of 9 suspicious activities, foiling major terrorist operations.

According to the briefing, the Balochistan Safe City Authority provided 631 important pieces of evidence to police relating to various crime scenes. Furthermore, 15 supporting emergency response services have been assigned to the CTD to ensure rapid response in emergency situations.

Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti stated that the Balochistan Safe City Authority is playing an effective role in establishing law and order and preventing crime . He said that the effective use of modern technology would further ensure the protection of citizens' lives and property.
